but i do buy into the Mideast issue as the single most important excuse for the international terrorists. Actually I agree with this. Problem is, for the Islamist crowd it is the existence of Israel that is the grievance and a Mideast peace deal would be just another unbearable humiliation forced on the ummah, a repeat of the "tragedy of Andalusia" to quote bin Laden. It would help in removing an excuse from the Arab governments as to why they could not reform.
