I agree. It aint gonna be as easy as GST may think BUT with democracy in afganistan, elections in iraq, syria buying apples from arab farmers in Golan and indicating a willingness to talk to negotiate peace, Libya, sharon-abbas, hussein/mubarek sponsors, money pouring in from the west etc...one has to give peace a chance. Someone once wrote that riots stopped in the US inner cities when AC became widely available. When AC, cable TV and the internet end up on the WB, arabs living there will then have something to lose and arabs elsewhere will have to change their tune in order to sell their goods to their people.
I think the key to long lasting mideast peace will be some recognition on israels part of trilateral jewish/islam/christian religious oversighin Jerusalem. Mike
