Another bail by the foreign custodials: sold 6.259 billion: bought 1.872 agencies, sold 8,132 treasuries. That's 10.820 billion sold over last four weeks, rather unprecedented over the last few years. Fed only monetized $31 million, no coupon passes, ballsy.

Avg securities lending at slightly below average 2.109 billion per day for the week through today. They kept repos on fumes below $20 billion most of week, finally popped a little in today.

These guys are on a tight leash. Just look at how quickly "real goods" rallied today, on the first down day the USD has had for awhile. The spec crowd is more neutral and has that "make my day" look on their faces. They are clearly watching Uncle Ernie now.
