So, its kind of hard for me to have any pity on PUSHERS regardless of how they were caught.

The majority of people in this country feel as you do. A small percentage of people who use drugs and alcohol ruin their lives by overusing them. I had to have treatment finally to get off booze, so I know.

On the other hand, is it worth billions of dollars and half our jail space to take the people off the streets that use and/or sell them? I no longer think so. I figure if you can't handle it, it's up to you to take care of your problem.

The government agencies involved with stopping drug use have a vested interest in convincing everybody that drug use is 100% awful. They make their living off of it. No criminal penalties for use, no big bucks for them. So you can't believe what they tell you.

I know my position is a minority one, and will not be adopted by our society now, so I usually don't discuss it. But when I see an article like that one, I can't resist posting it.
