Fanatacism on any stock is a good way to lose money.

Marry a stock and I'll come throw rice

Seriously, I like to go short partly because it keeps my bias more towards neutral. Bias is an enemy.

Re sell signals:

OBV and Williams are early indicators. (It is usually best to wait until signals in these are confirmed with stochastic signals). Both have started hooking downwards. Williams is in extreme overbought zone, so it is unlikely to remain up there indefinitely. I don't use OBV as an indicator of overbought/oversold status.

In addition, stochastics and price rate of change have flattened out. They look ready to signal very soon, from extreme overbought territory. Williams has already begun to move downwards actually. But again, these signals have not yet confirmed. Still I think AMD could be shorted now, since it traded today below yesterday's low, and also failed at the 200 ema on the 1 min chart, and confirmed that failure. Volume patterns are mixed.

The stock is weak compared to its sector, as you can see from the relative strength, which I set to compare with the $SOX.
