Yes-- and also read Sebold's memoir, -Lucky which is the story of her own rape as a college student. If you haven't read it, it is painful to read, but excellent, gripping and insightful- I think it is better than Bones. Sebold spoke in Dallas a couple of years ago and I was lucky enough to hear her-- she is incredibly articulate, witty, profound. We didn't want her to stop talking.
I was disappointed by the ending of Lovely Bones.

I liked The Lovely Bones, even though I did feel I was being obviously manipulated by the story. I gave it to my daughter to read, and it is one of her favorite books. It really appeals to high school girls, and it isn't a bad story for them to read. imo

I think I sent My Dream of You on to Kholt to read. I think she even read it :-) So there are two people, right here on SI, who read it!
