Could it be that Granny doesn't know what she's talking about? Or did she just identify herself as a non-intellectual worker? Message 21035511 However, smoking does affect work performance. Smokers take more breaks during the day, which makes them less productive. Now you know I HATE TOBACCO! BUT back when I indulged, I remember those smoking breaks. I remember continuing to think about how to solve the problem in front of me. Or reviewing my approach to see that it would work and was best. And occasionally I get stuck and go out for a fag. Light it up, take a few puffs... and VOILA! the solution pops into my head and that problem just got zapped. I don't suppose that works for burger flippers at Carl's Jr., though.
