So you don't believe it is possible for someone to see things in a different light? I know that's what you're used to with SiouxPal, Granny, et al, but it is not the ONLY way. You think it better that someone who makes a mistake continue that mistake rather than drop it and change what they do? Is this the argument you wish to be remembered for? Oh, those short bans? They're called "suspensions". SI Admin does them all the time.

I'll give you credit for having the ability to spin. That's probably the nicest thing I can honestly say about you. Sadly I can find no redeeming qualities about you at all. There is more free speech on this thread than on almost any thread created by your liberal peers. You save your own intentionally deceitful spin on free speech for Laz, but no one else. I don't see you chiding the Chinu's, redfishes, Grainne's, Mephisto's & SiouxPal's on SI. Not once, not ever. They all have atrocious records for squelching dissenting POV's. Laz has no such record. If I recall correctly, you were only temporarily suspended for making repugnant personal attacks, not for a dissenting POV. Your peers on the left have permanently banned almost everyone simply due to dissenting POV's. So yes, that makes you a hypocrite. A big fat hypocrite! And where in this thread's header does it say anything about "free speech"? IMO, this is just another of your straw man arguments that you excel at creating so you can attack & ridicule behind an intentionally deceitful veil of credibility. The thread header states the subject matters this thread was set up to discuss. It also states that this is a MODERATED thread. That should tell anyone with half a brain that this thread is not open to complete freedom of speech. By your twisted logic, why then do we even need a thread header or threads by topic? By your logic, "free speech" is so important any subject is fair game with no limits whatsoever on any thread. Vile personal attacks & outrageous obscenities should be welcome. Text from the bible & graphic descriptions of grass growing on a hot summers day are fair game & as often as one wishes to post about it. Why doesn't SI just have one thread where everyone posts if "free speech" is the be all end all? Laz even made it clear that suspensions & bans could happen..... ....Liberals will not be excluded (except as snottiness and vulgarity on their part requires)..... ....Racial, religious, and ethnic hatred and prejudice is a bannable offense. No conspiracy theories. Serious vulgarity, repeated intentional disruption, and repeated nasty personal attacks will be grounds for bans. Three warnings given before bans. Moderator is sole and final judge, but will accept input and suggestions via PM and posts from thread participants. Including after-the-fact appeals..... So even your "this is not a place where free speech is upheld" is another bogus straw man proving you to once again be the real hypocrite. U idjit! :-\
