Carl Sagan! He was one of my few heros. The world lost a great man when he died. I loved his series Cosmos.

IMO, liberal & science go together. Conservative & religious go together. So I would expect liberals to admit mistakes and change course, but not conservatives.

Oh my, that does seem to be the case doesn't it! And those blessed conservatives then claim this is a great weakness in liberals!
