Sure, Stalin was a ruthless murderer of his own people too. The world now needs to stand up to Bush and the US. We have become the bad guys at this point in history. Don't think because we are not trying to exterminate the innocent that everything is good. We cause the deaths of thousands of foreigners.

What is being mugged by the Right in this country is the truth. No need to mug individuals when you control the public discourse and the connection between statements & actual facts and events has been wiped out. It's brilliant. In the press conferences, plant some phony who diverts any real confrontation. Take the war & defense off the budget. Control a la Rove. Keep us ignorant. So you know where you can stick your false comparison with Germany in your ear. The real comparison is in the propoganda itself.
