Why We Need Bubbles

alwayson-network.com;

You know, I don't really think the internet craze of the last years of the 90s was a bubble. I believe expectations got ahead of reality but I didn't see it as the huge bubble others have called it. When you look at past bubbles, their collapse tended to lead to a huge echo collapse in the economies surrounding it. That didn't happen with the internet 'bubble'. Sure, the Naz declined and we went into recession........but it only lasted a couple of years. Collapses of other bubbles have resulted in depressions that have lasted for many years, even decades. IMO the only real victim is tech........its bloom is off.
