What a completely ignorant statement.

It's amazing how some people equate poverty, not to mention drug addiction and alcoholism, to some kind of moral failing.

I guess it must feel good to be so self-righteous.

That's right, Wayne. Any person who doesn't have money has done some terrible thing and deserves his fate. Like the people in southeast asia whose homes, businesses, even entire communities were wiped out by a tsunami. Or the people in California whose homes were destroyed by a mudslide, which, as an Act of God, is not covered by insurance. I suppose you think they're a bunch of jerks.

Here's a question for you, is Rush Limbaugh an immoral man? Was his addiction to painkillers his own fault?
