Duh! Yes. My point, exactly.

Seems pretty well documented to me and though people on both sides have tried to challenge it as being either too liberal or too conservative in its counting, to my knowledge, no one has made a convincing case against them.

LOL. On what absurd statistical theory do you base that notion? And what does their "maximum 18k" suggest? Or did you "overlook" that figure?
