Well, Benecol isn't a drug. It's just margarine that supposedly works wonders. I love salmon, but four days a week would be a lot for me. But I can have a pat of Benecol in my oatmeal, on toast or on my corn on the cob and achieve many of the same benefits. That being said, my cholesterol is 137, so I could probably eat nothing but Oreo filling. <G> I think heredity is the main factor of how high your cholesterol is.
