I think it as just as bad for males/sons

this young man will not escape the injury and stigma she has inflicted on him

it will follow him the rest of his life

it was hard to hard to testify in a public court at that young age

and harder yet to deal with those complex emotions and feelings that get in the way of a having healthy sexual relationship

I will go on record as saying that I, Agustus Gloop, being of sound mind and body, would kill (with my hands) a grown man who had sex with my 12 year old daughter - period!
Sorry. You're going to have to take a number and get in line.

Death would be both painful and non negotiable

And would constitue first degree murder, for which you would, in this state, you could face the death penalty.

And while you might think morally it would be justifiable homicide, legally you would be totally wrong, and you would deserve to go to prison for it. Just as Mary Kay may have thought morally she was right to do what she did, but legally it was a crime and she rightly went to prison for it.

Now, 400 years ago you might have gotten away with it. But as we've made clear here, we are no longer living by 400 year old standards of right and wrong. So don't even try that argument.
