But I'll also admit that there are many couples I see who appear to be in love and I can't understand why or how they are. Love is like that.

aged 12 and 33 year old couples?

They state a set of general facts and prejudge the situation without any specific knowledge of the particular circumstances

12 year old student

33 year old teacher

exploited sex

it's specific enough for anyone with a pea for a brain to understand

Fine words.

You're arguing for the sake of arguing a provocative, idiotic point (AKA "pot stirring"), you're insane, or you're a pervert as JLA charges. Take your pick.

I'm sure you're well aware of State Child Abuse Laws

In every state, the following people are required by law to report suspected abuse: Doctors; nurses; dentists; mental health professionals; social workers; teachers; day care workers; law enforcement personnel. In some states, clergy, foster parents, attorneys, and camp counselors also are required to report abuse. In about 18 states, any person who suspects abuse is required to report it.6,15,20,24

If for no other reason than "It's against the law" it shouldn't have happened..

So far the good folks here have done a masterful job
destroying the lunacy you have vehemently defended here. I
have been disinclined to enter the fray because it is just
that; pure lunacy.

However, claiming that you don't know whether enough facts
exist to determine whether that child was damaged is a bogus
straw man argument.

The laws are in place partially because of the high risk that
any child will be permanently damaged by this type of sexual
abuse. And that is but one of the legitimate reasons why
there are laws in place making this act illegal.

Arrrrg!
