I said in my post that it wouldn't matter to you. So here's something we agree on! Now let's work forward from there and maybe we can find some more points of agreement. Like that yes, she committed a crime, and yes, she deserved to be punished for it, and yes, she was punished for it. Where this whole discussion started was with people appalled that they're now planning to get married, and I said heck, they're both adults, they're the parents of two children, why shouldn't they get married if they want to? We went off from there.
