I am pleased how SS is working. I have been paying payroll taxes for 50 years. Although, I will never get a complete return on my taxes, I am pleased that my taxes have helped other less fortunate persons who became disabled or died before normal retirement age. SS is a little bit of wealth redistribution. That is good.
