Finally, finally the responsible part of the gay community are demanding that these practices stop. But believe it or not there are still some in the gay community who call this a witch hunt and an infringement of personal freedom--that is the freedom to give someone else AIDS.

With 275 million people in the US, you can find someone that has any position on anything.

But within the gay community there is a rather large minority of folks who recklessly use crystal meth to highten sex with multiple partners at sex parties without using condoms.

I don't know what large minority is, I need numbers. You looked at my profile page, I'm a mathematician.

How does this group fit into your image of high risk groups?

The gay community is pushing for the right to get married and have committed monogomous relationships. You would think that people who believe gays should have responsible sexual lives would encourage that.

That's a very honest post Mike... There will always be reckless sexually promiscuous people regardless of sexual preference. However having once worked with AIDS patients I can vouchsafe that there are those who will continue to have sexual partners without safe guards. It's like playing Russian Roulette.

It's disappointing but fear does not seem to be the modus operandi when sexual arousal and contact is desired.
