TS - I've been inundated with a bunch of spam emails touting penny stocks. I've noticed that the disclaimer indicates that the tout was compensated by cash or shares from third parties, not from the company itself.

Is it a trend that 3d parties compensate touts? Do you know or have an opinion on this? Is this new? Do you suspect that companies know this is happening? I suspect the touts compensate each other out of a pot of shares? If it's all part of a connected email tout, does the entire amount need to be disclosed in each disclaimer or only how much the particular tout gets?

thanks in advance
