"If Syria's Bashar Assad was behind the assassination of ex-Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri of Lebanon, he is, in the edited version of Gen. Tommy Franks' phrase, "the dumbest … man on the planet."

Who benefits?

I have asked myself this question.

I have come to the conclusion it was not Syria who did this deed.

Could be the CIA, Mossad, Saudi Arabia, but not Syria. there was nothing to be gained.

What the western powers, and their Middle East agents, the Isra'Elis, fear most is Hezbollah.

I think all these actions are a device to ultimately cutoff Hezbollah from Iran and Syria, who are more freedom-fighters than our own American revolutionaries were.
