The women for the most part get an honorable discharge and leave.

Some have post traumatic stress as nothing was done to the perpetrator in all of the cases discussed. That is about to change .. we hope.


That's bad enough but a Marine trainee just died after being physically abused by his drill sergeant and there is nary a word from the press. If they can kill a trainee, how can we expect that they will treat rape any better.

Exactly, indicative of the prude attitude toward sexual desire that is endemic in the US. If a natural need such as sexual desire does not have a healthy avenue for expression, rape is one of the ugly consequences. The government should promote greater, healthier sexual activity for its citizens.
