Elroy, while I don't disagree with you on your broader topic, rape for the most part has very little to do with sex other than the obvious. It is, for the most part an expression of aggression and dominance, the sex is pretty low on the list. These women get raped, especially the gang rape, because there are those that still feel that women don't belong in the military.

What the women did say was that the attitude was, well don't tell anyone, be part of the corp... It was as though two men had had a fight and if the one who lost squealed about the fight and ratted on the winner he was thought of as a snitch.

Thankfully there is the new bill which will be implemented .. But you are correct about sexual attitudes in this Country.
