FWIW, that's one of the main reasons all this is a problem. Those with chickens running in the garden will not go hungry. Gramps better replace the rocksalt with the real thing however when the masses get hungry!

Mq, Local politicians may soon lose control. The lack of testing for bird flu in the Philippines is now covered in Nature. WHO can't say why they haven't tested and they are looking to broaden. They also now have to admit that they are getting false negatives in Vietnam and they have no clue about WSN/33 in pigs in Korea (another Nature News story).
