The INTC subsidiary, Dell, showed its hand once again today, but judging by the market response to the 2 players, the Dell/INTC corp and AMD, Dell really didn't show anything unexpected, and consequently the market remains non-plussed. Actually, Dell's public endorsement of its parent, INTC, may well be a thinly veiled attempt to soothe what is likely an increasingly agitated customer base. Perhaps customers will see through the Dell/INTC Corp ruse this time, especially when SUNW and HP appear on their doorstep with superior AMD offerings. As far as Dell/INTC goes, just business as usual, only a little more panic-driven this time.
