Re: Actually, Dell's public endorsement of its parent, INTC, may well be a thinly veiled attempt to soothe what is likely an increasingly agitated customer base. Perhaps customers will see through the Dell/INTC Corp ruse this time, especially when SUNW and HP appear on their doorstep with superior AMD offerings. I've been thinking about that too, but am inconclusive, because Dell has the 65nm details from Intel hence and are in a position to conclude whether or not they want to weather the meantime.
