What would you say if Chevy programmed your car to stop working after 3 years or 30,000 miles, whichever came first?

Back when I was a mechanic it was fairly obvious that they were programmed to die at 100K. Has that changed? :)

This is more the oil than the engine. You run your car on the original oil for as long as your car runs?
