I don't think it was a profound statement but John said it was wrong. (literally he just said "no" but it means that he was saying my statement was wrong). If someone says what you say is wrong do you only defend it if you think your statement was greatly profound? I suspect John was thinking that it is "wrong" in the irrelevant sense. So what in the case of social security means that an enormous amount of money is going to have go from general taxes to social security recipients starting in less than 15 years. I thought you were talking about repayment of the trust money borrowed by the fed gov? Al
