Most of them know it, they just won't admit it to anyone else. You have to remember that a lot of these chowderheads use their church affiliation as a business builder. I remember being asked to attend a Bible study group in Dallas when I managed a hedge fund. There were 15 people in the group. One was the leader, a lay preacher, and I was a buy side money manager. The other 13 were stock brokers who pounced on me like I was a tuna at a great white shark convention. I think the preacher and I were the only two there who cared about the Bible. It was too bad, but I stopped going after 3 meetings. And we hadn't gotten to the part of Kings I wanted to discuss, which is how Elisha could possibly be considered a hero when he produced a bear to eat a bunch of small children for calling him an "old baldy."
