<never getting over 50 degrees>
One might as well eat it raw. Parasites and many infective agents aren't going to be killed by that temperature. It is unsafe to eat any kind of meat that hasn't been properly cooked.

When you do cook a steak and I have several from Iowa Steak as it was a Christmas gift.... (and if you don't have an outside grill ) what is the best way ?

Does anyone get a fry pan very very hot , put salt in it and throw the steak in searing it on both sides and flipping it a lot ?

Advice appreciated.
