Every time I look at one of these charts I am reminded how powerful the signal is of the 50 dma crossing the 200 dma.

True, but also look to see how far away we are from that 50 DMA and how often that has come about -- and what happens when we get too far ahead as well.

Try looking at it on a log chart Profile, doesn't look nearly as frothy.
