Still, I get bottom round roasts (for Patron's succulent pot roast) for 1.99 on sale, that's not horrible. The key of course is to take advantage the supermarket when they run specials, and have adequate storage and freezing capacity to keep what you've loaded up on. That's nothing new. OTOH, there is NO question that the price of gasoline, heating oil, drugs 'n health care, education and houses is rising at an accelerated pace. There is no question about the latter. But why is it that you like shoe leather like me? ggg Perhaps we know how to cook? Actually education was flat for a bit. I think the tide on that one will turn. Oil is a wild card - I am clueless. That said, I do NOT believe a rise in oil prices is inflationary. Mish
