Fred, as usual, makes perspicacious comment. Sheez!!! Where do we begin? This is black people (men and women), minority people (anywhere in the world), and Women (of all races) worst nightmare. An untreated angry white male with high standardized IQ test scores, way above average verbal skills, and musing unstructured scientific notions with a relatively large (in lay terms) scientific vocabulary. Unfortunately, there are many who share these thoughts. Even worse, there are many who should know better but who would want to believe these "notions". You are an example of a highly intelligent man who is on the cusp when it comes to buying all of Fred's notions as in the link you posted. But, I have faith. I have faith things will work out. Things look very dark right now in terms of human progress. It seems like we are going backwards. I have faith that people like you are only flirting with the dark side, but that you really know better. I have faith that eventually, people like you will give up the dark side and see the light. And, when that happens, that will happen with a vengeance. You will articulate a structured scientific view that will destroy Fred's notions once and forever. But until someone like you puts a knife into the heart of Fred's notions, Fred's notions will keep coming back in different disguises. In the last war that we thought was to end all wars, we thought we had ended Fred's notions. We were wrong on both counts. I don't quite see the light at the end of the tunnel just yet, but I know it is there.
