Wrong. I have repeatedly said that the best thing to do with the Palestinians and Israelis is to recognize that both sides are equally at fault. Place more blame on Israel or more blame on Palestine is fruitless. The fact is that they both are committing atrocities every day. Palestinians financed by Arabs send in suicide bombers and kill Israelis. Israelis send in their military and kill Palestinians. Palestinians get revenge by sending in suicide bombers. Israelis get revenge by knocking down the houses of the bombers' families. Palestinians get revenge by sending more suicide bombers...ad infinitum.

The U.S. steps in on the side of the Israelis, because the rest of the world is always on the side of the Palestinians. I'm glad of one thing: there is balance so that one side can't completely overwhelm the other.

Now is the time to put the past behind us and focus on how they reach a lasting peace. Blaming Israel more or Palestinians more is fruitless discussion and is fairly typical backward-looking liberal fodder. Well, that's not entirely fair. Clinton understood what I'm saying and he approached the Middle East that way, not seeking to lay blame, but just searching for a way out for both sides.

Three times as many Palestinians have died during this latest infida than Israelis.

That says it all. How can logical people sympathise with the Israelis more than the Palestinians given that fact??
