Shack -- with the idea that the S+P and SOX, at least, are heading into (or already in) possible 3 ups, why are you saying the rally will be larger than you think? Is this a question of what 3 (iii of 5 vs iii of 1 of 5?) or something else?

It's very hard for me to look at the semis and be bearish. And when the semis look poised to go up big, it's hard for me to be overall bearish either. what degree we'll have to see, but there's enough bullish potential around to make things exciting looking, even in the face of the Fed raising. Go figger.

the freep, who still thinks we're not in the 3 up, but can't be so sure anymore.

PS. after posting this, I see that NVLS CC is getting a weak reaction. I will take cash from any of you to talk up positions you are short or to dis things you are long. Contact me via PM if interested <g>

<<...larger rally...>>

Well, Shack, we're going on almost a month now of ups and downs with broad market getting nowhere..... Looking very much like a stone wall at those Dec and Feb highs which market simply unable to hurdle...(SPX market, that is.......Nas hasn't been playing in the same ball game) .

Gut feeling.......quite apart from any TA or EW.....Path of least resistance down....

my much-maligned F triangle-g

Btw, I decided to play it. The stop is very tight, right under yesterday's hammer. Survived so far... And the zapper maker is also holding up so far.

As for SP - true, it's near multi-year highs, which tends to be bullish. But it's also hard to see it other then near the end of a move (since August, and since 2002) Probably this is a good time to play individual setups, both long and short, and in due course the broad market will end up tracing out something obvious....
