It is absolutely true that half the people are below average in intelligence. That is not arrogance but a statistical fact. So, these esoteric economics are beyond most people, just like the actual operation of a computer are beyond most people who use one. and you of course just naturally assume that those who voted to say no to the union are on the left side of the bell curve... an extreme majority of the set, voted the union down...which i think in and of itself invalidates your premise (that the voters were not intelligent enough to vote their own interests) one would think at least half of the voters were of above average or above<ng>
