Simply being executed does not necessarily result in either
FEELING the wrongness of taking the life of another or
UNDERSTANDING why it is wrong. Or taking on the associated suffering.

For example, a "criminally-thinking" person may feel that they
are being executed because they got caught and have no understanding of the underlying dynamics or have any sense of guilt or remorse.

The Vedic system of "balancing" so-called "good karma" against
"bad karma" as a means of Enlightenment is wishful thinking because such a situation would require the absolute balancing of positive and negative sanskaras which are created in every "mind-moment". The Indian Guru, Meher Baba wrote extensively about this in his book "God Speaks".

Namaste!
