"The "pro-Syria" crowd is so anti-Israel that my hunch is they are virtually all Muslim"

And Shia. The anti-Syria crowd is probably all Christian and Sunni. From the little I have read, it looks as if Hezbollah has been given pretty free reign inside of Lebanon by Syria. Given all the brotherly love generally expressed between the Shia and Sunnis mean that the Sunnis probably aren't happy with the situation.

I wonder what the Muslim / non-Muslim split is between today's pro-Syria crowd and the previous anti-Syria crowd?? The "pro-Syria" crowd is so anti-Israel that my hunch is they are virtually all Muslim, but I wonder what the mix is amongst the opposition anti-Syria team?

aljazeera.com

How about checking here for the latest unbiased news on that?

We know that the Shia are the dominant group in Lebanon and they are behind Hezbollah and I guess, Syria.

And its a share that the TV news doesn't provide answers to these basic questions!

What? You want them to go into the crowd and do a survey.

Young is the predominant factor and common theme among the demonstrators wanting Syria to leave.
