Bill's post was spot on IMO. Agreed. I will note that some of the retorts here are every bit as harsh as those hurled at us, which IMO, does not elevate the debate or assist in resolution in a civil manner. True. But referring to us as close-minded racist bigoted stupid lowlife slime when such is demonstrably not the case hardly invites civil response. Some of the worst and most bigoted people on the site such as coug and Evil Vermin are welcome there. With open arms. They can also post here, this being an open thread, but I think they will get a hot reception. Grannie & her pals have in the past & currently continue to talk about us in ways that clearly violate her own thread guidelines & she is completely fine with that. I and others have noted just that. Granny herself is guilty. (and per cosmic they want us silenced here by SI intervention - note there was no disagreement with that POV). Yes. This from the champions of openness and free speech. I rather doubt that Admin is about to act in the biased manner cosmic wants. I don't believe that WAS cosmic. That was X reinforcing her own statements. My experieinces with cosmic in the past have been civil and polite even when we disagreed. And both sides stuck to fact. And never forget, according to them, we are the lowlife slime & they are nothing but a group of inclusive libs who espouse nothing but truth & light. Which means if Admin lets them have their way, this can become a subsidiary of MoveOn.org. OOF OOF???
