"Code" is a language trick used to bind the cognoscenti and fool the rest.

I think some on the right believe it IS code, because they believe those on the left don't really support the troops, but are using the phrase to fool the right and <nudge,nudge> their fellows.

I think they're wrong. Sometimes, it seems like what seems to be code to some is simply the way it is to others...

The problem is you are speaking to an extremely tiny minority
that has those inappropriate "feelings". A vast majority of
people who support the troops have no such beliefs.

Why do you feel the need to speak in such a manner to such a
small group?
