If the democracies had stuck to pure soft power in the 20th century, Democracy in Sovjetunion? in South-Africa? in Portugal? in Spain? All because of clownesc selfcelebrating chicken hawks in White House an the buddies in the military-industrial complex? WTF are you talking about? BTW, the Sovjet intervention in Afghanistan was a very modernistic project and would have eventually led to democracy as we know history today. I still didn't support that project.
