I haven't heard that it changes the "homestead" type laws anywhere. It's the same deal in Texas - that's why all the Enron crooks built huge mansions in Houston. It apparently preserves some protection for the wealthy, called "asset protection trusts".

The exemptions in FL will be the same, consisting of:

unlimited homestead
unlimited IRA and other retirement accounts
unlimited annuity
unlimited cash value in life insurance

So long as you don't have much "income," you can still file 7 and remain filthy rich down here.
