I will admit that there are conservative bigots if you will admit that there are liberal do-gooders who feel the mideast or at least the arab part of it, is the White Mans Burden. For those folks its all about apologism and appeasement. I do not believe that this admin and especially the neocons are racist at all as you imply, in fact neocons are the descendents of the civil rights movement as much as anthing else. Todays left descends from stalin denial all the way thru anti-reagan missile deployment, ban the bomb movements. They are now pro-arab extremist for the reasons mentioned above and a few even think bin laden had just cause to attack us. JIMHO
