re: OK. So in the world according to John, we as Americans should allow ourselves and our sons to suffer because of the sins of past Presidents. We should humbly acknowledge that we have made mistakes in the Middle East in the past and tell Osama, "We're sorry! Please don't worry about 9/11. We deserve it. We'll just sit back here in our country and if you feel the need to get more revenge. You just go right ahead."

Wow, where did you get that rant (take your blood pressure medicine)? You ought to point it at Bush, he's the one that didn't go after the perpetrator of 9/11 at Tora Bora. He's the one that hasn't avenged the victims of 9/11, which is a disgrace to this country and a failure and has done more to promote terrorism than anything else.

bin laden got away with it MM. We let him get away with it. We took our eye off the perpetrator and instead went after some long time Neo fantasy nemesis. bin Laden is doing fine, and lecturing to us on a regular basis. How does that make you feel? What does that say to other would be international terrorists?

re: It's nice that people like you can sit at home getting your social security check that I am paying for and spout naive absurdities.

I'm paying in, not receiving.

re: However, the rest of us want to ensure that these murderers don't get a second chance to attack us.

bin Laden is still there, probably spending every hour of every day trying to figure a way to attack us. Hell, why not, he got away with it the first time, and the second time. But we sure showed Saddam Hussein!

John has NEVER implied that we shouldn't go after the people who attacked us on 9/11.

You continue to confuse Iraq with Al-Qaida.

However, the rest of us want to ensure that these murderers don't get a second chance to attack us. If that means we have to go after them with our military at great cost, then so be it. I'd rather be alive and broke, than dead and rich.

mindmold, you do realize that Iraq had virtually nothing to do with 9/11, right?
