I would suggest to you that not only do teachers view it differently... What you're describing as "viewing differently" is the level of confidence teachers or text books have in it. But the "it" is the same regardless of the attitude. They all have the same charts showing critters moving from water to land. There is no doubt about what the basic "it" is, I don't think. Likewise we know what creationism is. It's based on the Bible. But what is ID?
