Was war needed to improve the lives of Iraqis? Just ask, What would Jesus do? Certainly the answer would not be attack. Nobody likes war. It is Horrible....in fact, it is terrible beyond description in its cost. But Peace is NOT merely the cessation or absence or war. Saddam killed about 20,000 people per year....was THIS peace???? It is not black and white as you seem to think. BTW, Jesus IMHO would be against nation/states themselves as they are artifical lines which separate people based purely on where they live.
