Perhaps that frees you to accept unintelligible and irrational things in your life. I'm not the one with "low view of God", if that is the case. It is really unlikely that you ACTUALLY know God or Jesus, or much about them, no matter what you think! THEY, sir, are the primary source and not something you found on a bookshelf. I caution you though: if you are talking and they talk back, then you might want to seek help. Any real God is way too busy to be bothered talking to you ("a low view of God"). To say otherwise is the ultimate in arrogance (indicating the "high view of oneself".) I agree that it is a dangerous combination. Good luck on that certain knowledge of God thing of yours - you're gonna need it. The problem I have with "I'm not perfect, just forgiven" is that is seems to make people act like they've got a corner on truth. That last post of yours shows that in spades. I don't think that way. You do.
