"Maybe its okay for you to believe that a God will act in unintelligible or irrational ways."

I've not seen you give examples of God doing either unless you include showing mercy to undeserving individuals. Justice is certainly not irrational nor unintelligible is it?

I'm sorry if I embarrassed you by exposing your lack of biblical understanding, that was not my intent. I was just pointing out that Dante's Inferno was not in line with the biblical teachings about Hell. The Bible is the source of Christian doctrine. It's not fair to hold Christians responsible for a novelists story just because he uses a biblical character.

"THEY, sir, are the primary source"

And we learn about them (Jesus and God) from their self revelation in the Bible. It's not arrogant to say you believe what the bible claims to be so; that it is the revelation of God.

As for a corner on the truth;

"I don't think that way. You do."

You seem awfully sure of that.
