Mish - I don't feel the need to show you "evidence that Europe is growing", as I am fully confident in your abilities to look up yoy GDP numbers for yourself.

Besides, I don't think you saw what I wrote in the last post about ECB talking about raising rates IN SIX MONTHS. Not now. Not tomorrow. Not next month.

Rising oil will hamper growth

Probably it will hamper growth but that does not mean there will be no growth. The fact that oil is rising to new highs should light a bulb in your head as to the pick up in global economy. Or did you think all that demand for oil is coming from SUVs in the US? :-)

Since you have not objected to nor commented on anything else I wrote in the previous mail, can I safely assume that you now understand why US Fed is entirely justified in raising rates, and how 2.4% inflation is an entirely normal level of inflation that has no resemblance to a deflationary path a la Japonaise?
