Thanks for the nice compliment. It's appreciated.

Being "early" has been a problem at this end as well, hence the nick-name. And as you point out, it can frequently be expensive.

That said, I suspect the current market is going to let go fairly abruptly, which might equate with no opportunity to acquire put/short positions. Calling precise timing in the current circumstances will require better skills than what most of us possess.

The current bear market rally is both long in the tooth and running on fumes. Positions in selected puts sure allow one to sleep well these nights. (g)
